Launching on November 13 and running for 12 days through to November 24, BIFF is a world class festival designed to showcase the best films from around the globe.

The stage is set for Queensland's biggest film festival season which will feature over 130 films spanning an array of genres and topics that is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

BIFF, now in its 22nd year, is also launching BIFF GenNext a newly branded festival program specifically designed for students, to run from October 14 through to October 20. Films screened at the festival are crafted by a cross-section of filmmakers, from highly acclaimed film auteurs to up-and-coming talents.

Reel Earth Big Night Out Opening Night

 

Your chance to be the first to see the best film of the 2013 festival at Palmerston North's very own 'green carpet' event. This is a new format event developed on the back of last year's sell-out opening night.


You will get pre-show drinks & nibbles in the Te Manawa foyer - with drinks (cash bar) and complimentary nibbles from 6pm.

Billy T Comedy Award winner and local boy Nick Gibb will host the shorter format awards ceremony from 7pm.

Then sit back and enjoy the best film of Reel Earth 2013 from 8pm.

This event sold out last year so bookings advised.
