Are Web Series the Future?
Web series have been around since 1995, so the idea is not new. But is now the time for this storytelling medium to flourish?
We bring together some of the makers of four locally developed and produced web series, Flat 3, Woodville, Girl Vs. Boy and Emmy-award winning Resevoir Hill, to discuss the pros of writing for the web TV format, building an audience and having an entrepreneurial mindset.
Join us to hear writer/director Roseanne Liang (Flat 3), actor Byron Coll (Woodville) and director David Stubbs (Girl Vs Boy, Resevoir Hill) as they talk to chair Thomas Robins (Girl Vs Boy, Resevoir Hill) about the benefits and downsides of the web series format. Is this the sustainable future?
Stay afterwards for a slice of Heaven Pizza and a drink.
