The Return of the WIFT Awards!

Posted Tuesday 29 Oct 2013

It's been three long years, but owing to popular demand -

The WIFT Awards Are Back!

They will be held in February 2014 - and in the next few weeks we'll confirm the date and venue and email around a nomination form.

In the meantime you might like to start thinking about women you feel should be honoured by WIFT.  Think about all those Unsung Heroines you know!  Who will be the next WIFT Woman to Watch?  Tini Molyneux won our first Te Reo Maori Champion Award in 2010 - who will be next?

South Pacific Pictures Award for Achievement in Film, and Images & Sound Award for Success in Television continue their great history of honouring our premiere movers and shakers.

The Great Southern Film & Television Award for Outstanding Contribution to the NZ screen Industry celebrates our trailblazers. The Queenstown Camera Company Entrepreneurship Award recognises exceptional business achievement and entrepreneurial vision.  There's an award category here to suit all areas of film and television work and lots of women who deserve to get them!

We'll keep you up to date with information about this exciting event as it rolls out, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the WIFT office - office@wiftnz.org.nz
