KCWIFT and KC Filmfest 3rd Annual Short Screenplay Contest is now open for entries.

Posted Sunday 29 Sep 2013

Kansas City Women in Film and Television would love to see some entries from WIFT NZ - so have a look below at the details and think about entering....

The contest is exclusively for female writers (or scripts co-written by a woman), and offers a grand prize of $US 1,000 cash with which to help the winning writer bring their screenplay to life on screen! All finalists will also receive passes to the 2014 Kansas City Filmfest where a live staged reading of their scripts will be one of the week's highlight events.

The organisers have been so proud of this contest and what it has already done in it's short life. They hope you will consider entering and they hope to read some fantastic scripts this year!
