WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

If you have a story, a theme, a great yarn, an image or even a vague idea that you would like to see transformed and made into something, these workshops are for you.
It is an ideal environment for people with no experience of writing, people who work in the creative industries that have an idea worth developing, or you know you have a gem of a story inside you but just don't know what it is yet.

WHAT HAPPENS?

This workshop is designed to be intimate and challenging. Using techniques from Theatre devising and marrying them to traditional 'script development' techniques we want to finish with something tangible. Paolo will use Theatre games and improvisation to unlock and free up your creative juices.  He will try to discover why things appeal to you and help you find your voice. Later in the workshops, script analysis and development techniques help to hone the work.
It is rewarding and challenging work in a both a personal and formal way. You will be required to be open and honest with a group of strangers, you will be required to get up and physically participate in other people's development, you will be challenged and questioned by the group. These workshops are designed to be a safe fun and encouraging enviornment. The objective is to inspire you to better tell your story.
