REMINDER! Applications close 4th September 2014!

Script to Screen and  Show Me Shorts are now calling for applications for the 2014 Short Film Lab.

Successful applicants will be offered a place in a one-day workshop as well as an opportunity for individual follow-up sessions. Participants in the 2014 Short Film Lab will be mentored by experienced industry practitioners who have excelled in short filmmaking including:  Jackie van Beek (Go the Dogs), Jake Mahaffy (Miracle Boy) and  Shuchi Kothari (Coffee and Allah). A fourth mentor will be announced soon.

Six writers (or writer/directors) will be selected to workshop their short film ideas (or short film scripts) during the full-day lab hosted by the University of Auckland on Saturday 8th November 2014. Those selected can come on their own, or bring up to two key creative collaborators with them. Thanks to the support of the  New Zealand Film Commission and the  Screen Production Programme at the University of Auckland, participation in the Short Film Lab is free for all selected. Travel grants are available for successful applicants who reside out of Auckland.

Applications close Thursday 4th September at 5pm.

INSCRIPTIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OCEANIA PITCH 2015!

Oceania Pitch 2015 will take place during FIFO 2015 in Tahiti, from January 31st to February 8th 2015.

Organisers are looking for oceanian documentary film projects of all lengths in development or production phase, preferably with international interest.

Once again they will be inviting major international commissioning editors who will be working with the pitchers, preparing them to pitch infront of a larger audience - this workshop will be taking place just before the pitch, from February 2 to 5.

Please check the homepage for news concerning this year's coach and the international commissioners they will be inviting to Oceania Pitch 2015.

Besides commissioners from New Zealand, France, Australia and the United States, they will be welcoming representants from most of the pacific countries - such as Fiji TV, Cook islands tv, Tonga (Digitv), Samoa, Vanuatus, Solomons, PNG and, of course, representatives from France �, the major French overseas channel - Polynesie 1ere, Caledonei 1ere and Walles et Futuna 1ere.

They will choose the most promising among the 8 presented projects which will be awarded a cash prize of 1000 �.
