Sunday is a relationship drama for contemporary New Zealand, a story like Christchurch city - one of past devastation and a chance at rebuilding. Farewell: A moving image exhibition Our 2014 Curator-at-Large, Gareth Watkins, presents his fourth and final moving image exhibition, aptly titled Farewell. The exhibition uses Ng? Taonga Sound & Vision's collections to showcase the moments surrounding the act of departure. The work examines how we contextualise poignant and tender events when they are captured and memorialised on film - and what it might mean when they aren't.
