Dates for 4th DOC EDGE LAB Announced

The 4th DOC EDGE LAB will be held 15 & 16 September 2014 at AUT.

DOC EDGE LAB is a 2-day incubator to educate and inspire digital storytellers with a shared goal of developing and prototyping interactive and multi-platform non-fiction projects.

DOC EDGE LAB 2014 is:
One day of intensive presentations from international transmedia storytelling experts, with a second day where those experts offer thought-provoking case studies, round-table project discussions and, for selected project teams, in-depth mentorship and guidance.

Anyone wishes to develop digital interactive storytelling ideas (whether fiction or non-fiction) should apply to DOC EDGE LAB 2014.

We are delighted to announce that Ingrid Kopp, Director of Digital Initiatives at Tribeca Film Institute, will lead DOC EDGE LAB 2014. Joining Ingrid is John-Paul Marin, Executive Director Online at SBS Australia.

Tropfest - Roughcut

Join Tropfest for an intimate evening of presentations with industry experts, featuring Sheri Candler (US director of Digital Marketing Strategy - The Film Collaborative). The MC for the night will be the self-confessed cinema addict and TV3's 3News Entertainment Editor and Film3 reviewer, Kate Rodger. More presenters to be announced shortly!

This event will be a forum of stimulating conversation with a focus on digital marketing and independent distribution on an international scale. Aimed to educate, inspire and challenge filmmakers at all stages of their careers.??The presenter line-up will be followed by a Taste of Tropfest short film screening which will feature finalist Tropfest films from NZ and around the world. Drinks and canap�s to celebrate the official launch of the 2015 competition and festival will conclude the evening.
