The Smalls Film Festival - Call for Submissions

Posted Monday 05 May 2014

The Smalls Film Festival is a short film festival based in London, UK and they have opened their Call for Submissions for their 9th annual festival.  The Smalls is an online community of over 9,500 filmmakers and creative, with over 10,000 short films submitted to date.

They are based in the UK, but their submissions come from all over the globe. They get a huge number of international submissions every year, and have a large presence around the world. Their 2013 Festival was a huge success, with the readers of Movie Maker Magazine voting us in the Top 5 Coolest Short Film Festivals in the World.

Submitting to their festival means that filmmakers get a chance to show their film to a UK audience, and will hopefully bring opportunities for collaborations across the globe. Some of the short films have gone on to be commissioned with companies such as UK TV Gold, and many have gone on to win a slew of other awards.

The Smalls have opened their Call for Submissions, Early Bird price just 10. Winning film in each category receives a 500 cash prize with further prizes to be announced.
