Fresh from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II: The Green Legend the team tells you what they want from their directors.  And that team is:

Grant Major (Production Designer) Nick Bassett (Art Director) Augie Davis (Stunt Co ordinator) and Brendan Durey (Special Effects Supervisor)

They will talk about what they look for from the director to make a project go smoothly. The discussion will be facilitated by Director Jesse Warn.

Hip Hop-eration Scores Big TIme

New Zealand documentary Hip Hop-eration has received rave reviews since it opening in NZ on September 22. Produced by WIFT member Paula Jones, if you haven't seen it yet - don't miss out on this wonderful, heart-warming film. Better still it will make its international premiere at the prestigious 2014 International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).

The IDFA is the largest and most important documentary film festival in the world.

The feature debut of director Bryn Evan will screen in the First Appearance section of the IDFA.

Hip Hop-eration follows a troupe of senior citizens from Waiheke Island on an extraordinary quest to perform at the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas.

"From the outset we knew this film would be successful internationally. It had all the elements of a great story. This is a film which all Kiwis can celebrate and be proud of," said Paula Jones.
