The Munki Mash Live Stream extravaganza on 22nd August 2015 features live performance by Orchestra of Spheres, Mr Sterile Assembly, Rosie Tin Tea Caddy, Eru Dangerspiel and heaps more music mayhem. Transmitting for free on transmitworld.tv to web, mobile and digi TV.

Wellington's Munki Studios has captured the shifting sands of New Zealand music for 25 years and this is the chance to toast Munki Studios legacy ahead of the move to new studio digs. Plus you get to join the search for secret tunnels in the Martin Square building that once housed the SIS spy HQ.

The Munki Mash Live Stream will kick off with a nod to the next generation of music makers, a recording session and jam led by Munki owner and engineer Mike Gibson's own daughters operating behind the mics and control desk.

The grown-ups then gather for the last rites taking over four studio rooms to play music with no boundaries. The action will be accompanied by Erica Skelars aka Lady Lazer Lightvisuals. Sneaky interviews and confessions from the players are also on the dance card.

The secret vaults and armouries have proven to be the secret acoustic-treatment ingredient to Munki's internationally coveted sound. Mike Gibson used to get midnight calls from US producers wanting to know how he got the sound so right. He suggested they find themselves an SIS vault.

The Boosted campaign will provide financial support towards live stream film production costs, setting up multiple cameras, sound equipment and live stream connections. The campaign figure is a nod to real world costs 'cos we making it happen with a live stream dream team of local film makers offering their skills for the love of music.

Munki Studios will match dollar for dollar up to the first $1000 donated to support the BOOSTED campaign filming and live stream. Awesome eh.
