WIFT member Arani Cuthbert is a film and television producer known for her long association with music and comedy duo The Topp Twins, including producing hit feature documentary The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls. She produced the first TV Series of the ratings hit Topp Country and the first episode of the next series goes to air this Sunday 23rd August at 8.00pm on TV One with Lynda and Jools Topp continuing their culinary journey around New Zealand meeting passionate food producers, home cooks and lovers of life. Series 2 continues the successful format established in the first Series. Topp Country is a celebration of New Zealand's beautiful country and passionate people. Food is the vehicle for story telling and gives us access into people's intimate domain - the family kitchen where stories, love and laughter are shared. The Topps' gift for spontaneity and wit combined with a deep love for the land and its people delivers emotionally satisfying stories that are life affirming, humorous and inspiring. The Topp Twins' original music features throughout as Lynda and Jools invariably end up singing for their supper. The Topps' popular comedy characters make cameo appearances again. This time the Bowling Ladies present not-to-be-missed kiwiana Tasty Treats, while rural blokes Ken and Ken close each episode with a poem celebrating what it means to be a Kiwi.
