BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2016 Call for Entries

The Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2016 is now open for entries. The BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival, celebrates innovation and excellence in filmmaking, and provides a chance for both emerging and established filmmakers to get their work seen by industry, filmmakers and thousands of film fans.

There are many opportunities for industry engagement through the masterclass series, and networking sessions offer a chance to connect with programmers from around the world.

In 2015, ASFF attracted 20,000 admissions across the four day event including industry, filmmakers and thousands of festival-goers providing a dynamic platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work to a wider, international audience. All genres are accepted, from drama to documentary and artists' film to music video.

Screenings at the BAFTA Qualifying ASFF 2016

Awards for Best Film in each category and People's Choice

Eligibility to enter the EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA)

Screenings in various guest programmes at other film festivals

Editorial in Aesthetica Magazine and on Aesthetica's online channels (180,000 readership worldwide)
