Doc Edge - All ready for 2016

2015 has been an exciting year for Documentary Edge celebrating the 10th edition of the Festival. And the team are not resting on their laurels. While you are getting a tan they are already working in full force and getting excited about the 11th edition of Documentary Edge Festival and all other events through the year. Here are the latest sneak previews straight from their desks:  P.s. and check out the job listing here too...

In 2016 the Festival and Forum will be held FIRST in Wellington from 4-15 May at the Roxy Cinema and then in Auckland 18-29 May at Q Theatre. Please mark those dates in your diary!

Screen Edge Forum will continue to run in both Wellington and Auckland during the Festival. A call for submissions for DOC Pitch will be made in the New Year.

Film submissions for the Festival are still open until the end of the year. The regular deadline is just around the corner on 15 December and the late deadline is 31 December.  If you have made a new documentary or know someone who has, please review the Festival Rules and submit via  FilmFreeway to be considered for the Festival selection.

Doc Edge offers print and on-screen advertising during the Festival. There are also sponsorship options from sponsoring a film, specific event/activities or the whole Festival. To enquire or book, please contact us.

They have a part-time paid position available! They are looking for a Docs for Schools coordinator to work with them for 6 months from January 2016. Please check out the  Job listing and if it is you, apply by 5pm on Monday 21 December.
