Two of Aotearoa's finest female singers, Anika Moa and Julia Deans, combine with Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in one spectacular Auckland show on 25 June at the Auckland Town Hall featuring new songs from their latest albums alongside old favourites. A musical journey that celebrates the rapport and friendship between these two Divas.

Writers Lab Awards Five Places

Five feature film projects and eight writers have been awarded a place on STS second Writers' Lab Aotearoa. Better still three of the films are by women writers including WIFT member Sophie Henderson. Congratulations Sophie!

Competition was tough, with 60 applications received from a diverse range of writers. After all applications were read blind, 13 projects made a competitive shortlist and selectors made the final decisions last week.

Writers will work on their projects with local and international talent, including the recently announced Gyula Gazdag - Artistic Director of the Sundance Filmmakers Lab and others soon to be announced.
