NZ Documentary Series Screening

Friday 6 March 7.30 pm, 130 Remuera Road. This widely acclaimed documentary may be of special interest to students and staff involved in film studies, television and screen arts as well as those in Pacific studies. They welcome students with ID and offer a special discounts of $40 for groups of five students for this screening, and for the series if three.

There Once was an Island tells a critically important and compelling story about the impact of climate change on a Melanesian Island.

WIFT member and producer Lyn Collie will introduce the film and speak about her work, her motivations and inspirations as a film maker, as well as her experiences making this film over  several years.
