YouTube Roadshow a Big Success

Posted Tuesday 03 Mar 2015

Over 330 people attended  the recent YouTube Roadshow presented by WIFT in Auckland at Unitec, Wellington at Park Road Post and Christchurch at the NZ Broadcasting School, including an Otago contingent of 9 who travelled up from Dunedin by minibus (courtesy the NZFC) - thanks to Allan Baddock for organising the group. Here's a photograph of some them as they leave to go home - we promise the driver, editor Murray Ball was not drinking!  Two of the presenters crouching at the front of the shot were inclined to go with them! If you want a single page summary of the 10 essentials to YouTube success please email office@wiftnz.org.nz

Thanks to the international YouTube presenters Kristen Bowen, Guillaume Deront and Steve Crombie, and the special guests in each centre, including New Zealand's biggest social media talent, Jamie Curry who appeared in Auckland.  They did a great job covering off the 10 essentials to YouTube success, and clarifying the complex topic of copyright and monetisation for an audience of film, television, radio, advertising and tourism professionals mixed in with a crowd of active YouTubers.
