Chilean writer/director Sebastian Silva joins BSS.

Sundance darling Sebasti�n Silva (THE MAID, MAGIC MAGIC, NASTY BABY) joins us to talk in conversation and present a filmmakers masterclass at this year's symposium.

Sebasti�n embodies the spirit of independent filmmaking, and his passion and dedication to the craft has seen him write and direct a total of six feature films in a career spanning a mere eight years.

Liz Watts (AUS) to give masterclass for producers

Liz Watts has produced some of the most successful Australian films of the last 10 years, including ANIMAL KINGDOM and THE ROVER (David Mich�d) and LORE (Cate Shortland).

Liz will present a masterclass for producers at this year's symposium that is focused around identifying new and exciting talent, and supporting and retaining these important relationships across multiple works.

Jane Campion to deliver masterclass - Applications now open

Last week we announced that leading female director Jane Campion will be speaking at this year's Symposium. In addition to this conversation, Jane will be holding an intimate masterclass for selected New Zealand directors, where they can ask their own burning questions and apply Jane's wisdom directly to their own work.
