DOC PITCH CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

DOC Pitch 2016 will be held on Thursday, 19 May at Auckland University of Technology.

This is a 'dragons den' event held during Screen Edge Forum to support documentary makers,

Doc Pitch helps projects to get funded and completed. This year there is a great line up including VNZ, TV3, NZFC and NZ On Air, commissioning editors from Australia, Singapore and China as well as local producers and there are still more on the way!

DOC Pitch seeks projects with universal themes that are challenging and innovative in subject matter as well as the treatment and delivery.

This year, a total of 8 projects will be selected:

4 x Festival (cinematic) documentary

4 x Television documentary series

All applicants must be registered for the Screen Edge Forum to apply.

Submissions close April 22nd 2016.

Always a crowd favourite, Doc Pitch allows selected filmmakers to present their project to a panel of local and overseas commissioning editors, distributors, sales agents, producers and other potential partners, sitting together in a documentary specific pitching forum.
