The Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has released a report concluding a study into the role of copyright and designs in the creative sector. This is an important document for everyone in the film, television and creative industries generally (and you are encouraged to set aside that trashy beach novel and have a read over the summer break!) A copy of the report can be found here. The study is a first step towards better understanding how copyright is used in practice and in context.
