| DocPlay has opened its doors to documentary lovers in Australia and New Zealand. Dedicated to becoming the streaming hub for the world's best documentaries, DocPlay is a VOD (video on demand) service available on several devices, both at home and on the go.
DocPlay currently features over 130 documentary films, a catalogue which will rapidly grow with titles from a broad range of content creators and distributors.
The service has a strong focus on curation, bringing audiences the best documentaries from categories including Art & Culture, Music, Science & Nature and Sports. Titles available include Academy Award winners, festival favourites and cult hits.
Supported by Screen Australia's Enterprise Industry fund, DocPlay also has a focus on local content, with over 20 Australian titles available at launch and a commitment to regular additions of Australian and New Zealand documentaries.
DocPlay is designed to deliver a full plate of documentary content to audiences throughout the year, and is available as a monthly premium subscription service priced at $6.95 (or $69.95 annually) with full ad-free catalogue access. A rotating hand-picked selection of the catalogue is also available to stream free.
