South Seas Film and Television School

Head of Art and Design Department head tutor.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person  with tutoring  and industry experience to head our Art and Design department .The Dept delivers to the skill areas of Art and Costume for film and television which will require you to understand the delivery and implementation of design and of manufacture.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and a desire to help young people to achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for course delivery, maintaining and providing class planning and teaching. along with  co-ordinating other industry professionals for guest lectures and the provision of speciality workshops.

Ideally you will posses,

  • An industry background in Art and/or Costume departments.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of industry practices
  • A relevant qualification or background in teaching.
  • Ability to train within the classroom and on job situations..
  • Strong leadership and HR skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be available to take up the position at the start of February 2017.
