Screencraft Offers TWO Great Opportunities

Posted Tuesday 07 Jun 2016

ScreenCraft are excited to share these two exciting opportunities for your short screenplays:

Here's the difference between both opportunities for short screenplays:

Short Film Production Fund is a program administered by ScreenCraft and the team at  BondIt, a media fund based in Beverly Hills. The purpose of the Short Film Production Fund is to support talented emerging filmmakers with the resources (up to $20,000 in funding) to make their short film. It's their long-term goal to build partnerships with the best new creative minds in the industry, and they believe short films are the best way to do this. Because screenwriting is the bedrock of the creative process in the entertainment industry, they require a short screenplay and a cover letter which they evaluate to determine winners every 4 months.  The ScreenCraft Short Film Fund selects at least 3 winners per year. Every cycle, they have incredible award-winning mentors.

Short Screenplay Contest is dedicated to celebrating the craft of short-form narrative screenwriting. They have assembled a noteworthy  jury of industry professionals who are looking to create innovative short-form content for a variety of platforms - from prestigious organizations like the Cannes Film Festival and Slamdance, to new media companies like Snapchat and Maker Studios. Judges will pick one grand prize winner annually. The grand prize is $2,000 cash + introductions to the jury and network of industry pros.

Keep in mind, the early deadline for the  Short Screenplay Contest is in 1 week!  The 2016 Academy Award-winning writer-director of Best Live Action Short Film is a judge this year! Also joining the jury are executives from Cannes Film Festival, Slamdance, Snapchat and more.
