WIFT NZ - Doc Edge Updates

Doc Edge invite you to enter a photographic competition to select the hero image for their 2017 festival programme and collateral. You don't need to be a professional photographer! Simply submit an iconic image and be in to win.

Calling all Interactive digital projects. Story Edge World Exhibition 2017 is seeking projects to be showcased at the Exhibition during the Doc Edge Festival. Submit here.

Festival Film Submission Deadlines close on 15 January 2017. NZ filmmakers take note that with kind support from the NZ Film Commission, a package of incentives will be given to the selected NZ feature films.

The next deadline is 15^th December. There are 3 new categories and awards for NZ students; primary, secondary and tertiary. If you have made a documentary or know someone who has, please read the Festival Rules and submit via FilmFreeway.

NZ Film Commission is working with Doc Edge to provide an incentives package for local filmmakers who premiere their feature film at Doc Edge Festival 2017. This includes a screening fee and contribution towards hospitality and film promotions. Together with the local Doc Edge awards, the new incentives for local filmmakers will be a great way to celebrate NZ talent and work.
