We congratulate WIFT member Nathalie Boltt on receiving Seed funding to develop her feature project Holy Days, based on the novel by national treasure, Joy Cowley. The Seed funding will allow Nathalie to write a draft of the screenplay, which she aims to direct.
Nathalie was selected as one of the female film makers of the inaugural Incubator program, presented by DEGNZ and that she recently returned from MIFF after going over with the NZFCs Talent Express initiative for emerging talent...
Participation in this round was great, with 39 applications in total received.
The standard of craft and original story ideas presented in the applications is proving Seed applicants are increasingly raising their own standards.
The other recipients are:
Dean Hewison, Richard Faulkner and Paul Simei-Barton
