STS are very proud to announce their keynote speaker:  award-winning US producer Heather Rae for this year's bash to be held 24/25 September in Auckland Tickets on sale now.

They also welcome multi Academy Award winning special effects pioneer Joe Letteri, and sought after NZ editor Simon Price to their speaker line up. STS would also like to extend a very warm welcome to Transmission Films, who join them as a sponsor this year.

GROUNDBREAKING US PRODUCER HEATHER RAE TO DELIVER KEYNOTE

Heather Rae (TALLULAH, FROZEN RIVER) has been a documentary maker, an activist, has lead the Sundance Native Program, and has produced over 10 feature films. Heather will deliver a keynote address and a masterclass.  More info.

4 x ACADEMY AWARD WINNING VISUAL EFFECTS PIONEER JOE LETTERI JOINS US

Weta Digital's senior visual effects supervisor, Joe Letteri, is the master mind behind the most game-changing visual effects of this decade (AVATAR, KING KONG, LOTR). Joe will deliver a visual effects masterclass at this year's symposium.  More info.
