Posted Monday 03 Apr 2017

There's still time to get your pitch together for Doc Pitch, a competition held on Friday 26 May in Auckland as part of the Doc Edge Screen Forum (May 19 and 27).

This is a chance to pitch your documentary proposals to industry experts, to receive feedback, find new partnerships and progress your ideas to funding stage. More than 20 local and international funders, commissioners and producers will be on the panel.

Doc Pitch seeks projects with universal themes that are challenging and innovative in subject matter, treatment and delivery with strong international appeal and co-production potential. Projects that push creative boundaries and/or have multi-platform potential are encouraged.

Applications are welcome in the following categories:
- Feature festival cinematic documentary
- Television documentary series
- Short cinematic documentary

Submissions are open until 5pm, Tuesday 18 April. Registration and submission forms can be found on the website.

Please note that in order to pitch, you must be registered for the forum. If you have any questions, please call 021 246-8924 or email Paula Jones on paula@docedge.nz.
