Zia Mandviwalla among FilmUp 2017 participants

Posted Tuesday 18 Apr 2017

Congratulations to WIFTNZ member Zia Mandviwalla, who is one of eight filmmakers awarded a place on Script to Screen's 2017 FilmUp Programme. (We're also stoked to see that five of the eight mentorships are going to women!)

FilmUp is Script to Screen's high-end development programme for writers, directors and producers who have already shown considerable talent and tenacity in their work.

Each participant is matched with a filmmaker mentor from NZ or Australia, and will attend a series of hub days that include round tables, workshops, and group work as part of an eight-month programme tailored to their individual needs.

The participants of the 2017 FilmUp Mentorship Programme are:

Abigail Greenwood
Chantelle Burgoyne
Zia Mandviwalla
Jamie Lawrence
Jessica Hansell
J. Ollie Lucks
Dianne Taylor (senior mentorship)
Florian Habicht (senior mentorship)
