A small bird is injured by a small boy who then nurses it back to health. The metaphor for a fractured home life couldn't be more clear in Armagan Ballantyne's short film, Lily & Ra.
The film was made for Art for the World, a feature-length film comprising 22 short segments directed by different film makers from around the world for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Each short is based on one of the major themes highlighted in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: culture, development, dignity and justice, environment, gender and participation.
