Congratulations to WIFTer April Philips (pictured below) whose horror short Rare is a semifinalist in the 2017 BlueCat Screenplay Competition. The film's logline is, "In a dystopian future life is cheap and meat is an unaffordable and rare delicacy. To stay in her ambitious husband's favour, Marcie must use her brutal ghetto origins to survive the market for meat." Not for the faint-hearted!
