The NZ Film Commission is looking to fund at least one distinctive, edgy and compelling short film to be part of an international horror short film anthology by women directors.
This is a one-off initiative aimed at providing women filmmakers the opportunity to make their genre short film and potentially be part of an innovative cinematic anthology; one that will have stong exposure to the international marketplace and to audiences around the world.
NZFC aims to fund at least one short film as part of this initiative, with each film to be made as a stand-alone work. In addition, they will put the films forward to possibly be included in an Australasian women-led horror anthology.
The application deadline is 9am, Friday 10 March. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Visit the NZFC news page, look for the 'Women's Horror Short Film Grant' and get applying!
