The beginning of 2017 sees two changes at WIFT. Josie is leaving as e-news editor because she is now Josie McNaught LLB, available to hire as your media lawyer! Josie can be contacted at Izard Weston in Wellington.
We are delighted to welcome journalist Mary de Ruyter, who will produce the e-news. Mary has worked as a writer and subeditor for many of New Zealand's leading magazines and newspapers over the past 20 years. Past stints reviewing film, and working for the New Zealand International Film Festival and Show Me Shorts, mean she has a keen interest in the industry. She can be contacted with story ideas via office@wiftnz.org.nz.
Shoshana McCallum is increasingly in demand as a writer and actor, and after two years here has decided to relinquish her Mondays at WIFT. Kate McGill has stepped into that role and is hoping to emulate Shoshana's success!
