Screen your films in the home of the maple leaf

Oh Canada... Here's an exciting opportunity for Kiwi female filmmakers to screen films in Vancouver, Canada!

Women in Film and TV Vancouver (WIFTV) will be hosting the 13th staging of the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival (VIWIFF), March 7-11 2018. They want to have more films/filmmakers from territories outside the US and Canada on their programme, and would love for New Zealand to be a part of the 2018 festival.

VIWIFF showcases an impressive line-up of short and feature films (narrative, documentary, experimental and animation) by established and emerging women filmmakers from around the world. Films completed after March 2015 are eligible. International films and films from students are encouraged and accepted.

As well as offering independent filmmakers a professional screening opportunity, the festival pays the filmmaker's exhibition fees and all films are entered to win cash awards.

Festival details are available at Fimfreeway.
