Viceroy's House charts the tumultuous times at the home of India's British rulers, in the months leading up to the country's partition into India and Pakistan. Drama and romance play out upstairs (with the British) and downstairs (with the Hindu, Sikh and Muslim servants) against the backdrop of approaching, irrevocable change.
The film stars Hugh Bonneville and Gillian Anderson as Lord and Lady Mountbatten (pictured), and is directed by WFTV patron Gurinder Chadha.
Viceroy's House opens in NZ cinemas on May 11, and we have 10 double passes to give away.
To enter the draw, just watch the trailer and answer this simple question: According to Lord Mountbatten, though the Indians have their differences, what is the one thing they have in common?
