This week we have five double passes to a film that Variety described as, "a tense, scrupulous, absorbingly precise and authentic piece of history." Chappaquiddick dramatises the scandal and mysterious events surrounding the drowning of a young woman in 1969 after senator Ted Kennedy drove his car off the infamous bridge. Not only did this event take the life of an aspiring political strategist and Kennedy insider, but it ultimately changed the course of presidential history. Starring Jason Clarke (above left) as Ted Kennedy and Kate Mara (above right) as Mary Jo Kopechne.
