Rehearsal Dynamics with Jennifer Ward-Lealand

Directors, don't miss this wonderful opportunity from DEGNZ to learn how to get the most out of your actors during rehearsals. Taught by the fabulous Jennifer Ward-Lealand (pictured below), five selected participants will direct actors in short scenes under Ward-Lealand's guidance. Titled 'Deepening and Enriching the Actor's Performance', this one-day workshop will involve a strong emphasis on identifying craft to aid the rehearsal process and developing a language to confidently engage with actors. Successful applicants will have experience directing narrative short films and have a narrative feature film in active development. In addition, DEGNZ will offer up to seven directors a place in the workshop as an active observer. If you are based out of Auckland, you might be eligible for a travel allowance.
