Announcing the new Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin

The Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin is a new, annual five-day film event featuring screenings of international and local short and feature film productions of all genres. The inaugural festival will take place on February 8-12, 2019. The FFFB was created to support up and coming female talents from different ethnic backgrounds and nationalities, who have a unique story to tell. Every year a special section will be dedicated to productions from two countries, and in 2019, the countries are Ireland and Spain.

French Film Festival unveils 2018 programme

After months of planning, scheduling and secret-keeping the Alliance Fran�aise French Film Festival has finally unveiled its full 2018 programme. As in previous years, the programme includes a strong focus on female directors and creative talent. First features by up-and-coming filmmakers will play alongside work from established names such as Anne Fontaine (Reinventing Marvin, Marvin ou la belle �ducation), and Lisa Azuelos (Dalida). The festival will run from 1 March - 18 April in 13 cities across New Zealand. A tr�s bient�t au cin�ma!
