Limited shows left in new Pop-up Globe season

Pop-up Globe's summer season has five new stunning productions of Shakespeare's masterworks - the magical fantasy A Midsummer Night's Dream, controversial comedy The Merchant of Venice, laugh-out-loud slapstick The Comedy of Errors, the haunting tragedy of Macbeth and the epic political tale of Julius Caesar. The Southampton's Company featuring Romy Hooper has opened both of their productions Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors, both to critical acclaim!

Character building workshop for Christchurch screenwriters

While we wouldn't dream of casting aspersions on anybody's character, screenwriter, playwright and novelist Duncan Sarkies would! He'll lead a workshop on character objectives: how an understanding of what your character wants and the obstacles that get in their way can be used to generate ideas for your film. The day will be interactive with fun practical exercises to help you explore the power of motivated characters. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided, but bring your own lunch. Places are limited!
