?taki residents may want to stay indoors during the last two weeks of March. That's when the M?oriland Film Festival is on, and judging by the just-released programme, we're pretty sure that film lovers will be flocking to the K?piti Coast to get their fix. The M?oriland Film Festival shares stories that need to be told and with 102 films from 65 Indigenous nations, the 2018 festival programme has films for everyone. And, 60% of programmed filmmakers are women. Look out ?taki, here we come!

Call for entries to the Aesthetica Short Film Festival

The 8th BAFTA-Recognised @AestheticaShortFilmFest (ASFF) is looking for filmmakers who are pushing the boundaries to showcase their work to a wider audience. We know some of you will enter, but for those who need a little more encouragement, the ASFF 2018 Prizes include:

Screening your film at a major BAFTA-Recognised UK and International Festival

  • Eligibility at the EE British Academy Film & Television Awards (BAFTA)
  • Further exposure with editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine and online
  • Awards: Best of Category, Festival Winner �1,000; Best Screenplay �1,000 & People's Choice
