The cultural history of Auckland's Bastion Point (Takaparawhau) just got even more interesting and engaging. Local iwi Ng?ti Wh?tua ?r?kei have partnered with creative agency M Theory to launch an augmented reality (AR) tour app that brings the area's M?ori stories to life - all through a mobile device. Created by M Theory, whose director is Sam Ramlu, the app is designed to be a walking tour through which visitors can learn about the iwi's connection to Auckland, what the natural environment has to offer, and the cultural and historical significance of the site for M?ori people.
