We're celebrating the news that Gaylene Preston's documentary My Year with Helen will have its international premiere at the Athena Film Festival 22-25 February, 2018 in New York.

Films at the Athena Festival tell the extraordinary stories of strong, bold women who are leaders from all walks of life. They're stories of ambition, courage, resilience, and moxie, so it's a fitting platform to showcase these two indomitable Kiwi women. Helen Clark and Gaylene Preston will both attend Athena for Q&A post-screening.

Preston's cameras follow Helen Clark in 2016 as she campaigns to become the first female Secretary-General of the United Nations while also carrying out her work as Administrator of UNDP.
