Acting development opportunities in Christchurch

Posted Wednesday 04 Jul 2018

Here's a brilliant opportunity for members wanting to develop, polish and hone their acting skills. Two of NZ's most experienced casting directors for film and television are running developmental classes for beginners and advanced actors. Liz Mullane and Rachel Bullock have worked on - and continue to work on - some of the biggest films in the world. Both are one-day classes, and will run in Christchurch.

Beginner's class When: Friday 10 August OR Saturday 11 August - dates to be confirmed.
Where: Sawtooth Studios, 31 Southwark St, Christchurch
Students will work on scripted scenes from projects cast by Rachel and Liz, and they will be given unique insight into how to best learn lines, approach a role, deal with nerves and make the overall experience enjoyable.
Advanced class: When: Sunday 12 August, 2018
Where: Sawtooth Studios, 31 Southwark St, Christchurch
This is for actors who have had some screen experience and who want to practise the craft with the aim to discover any bad habits and to hone their technique.
Book your spot now by emailing Liz at lizmullanecasting@gmail.com with your preferred date and CV, if you have one. If not, please give a basic outline of what if any acting experience you have had.
