WIFTers chosen for inaugural Episodic Lab Aotearoa

It's fantastic to see so many WIFTers chosen for Script to Screen's inaugural Episodic Lab Aotearoa. Chelsie Preston-Crayford, Sophie Henderson, Shoshana McCallum, Roseanne Liang and Kerry Warkia are among the 19 selected. All up, 95 creative teams submitted 116 TV series' concepts in what is the first initiative of its kind in New Zealand. The eight selected teams will develop their skills and their projects with guidance from experienced television writers from New Zealand, Australia, USA and Denmark during the five-day immersive lab.

Duckworth's short to screen at NZIFF

We're happy that Anna Duckworth's short film Mum Jeans, will screen before the Brazilian feature film Loveling in Wellington and in Auckland. Written and directed by Duckworth, Mum Jeans is about a young woman struggling to find a balance between individualism and motherhood. Duckworth has also received Fresh Shorts funding for another short film project, Pain.
