Scholarship for masterclasses in Virtual and Augmented Reality up for grabs

Here's your chance to be involved in something special. Pohewa are small industry-lead masterclasses, run in a state-of-the-art facility in Wellington's film making community, Miramar. Founded by Kristy Grant, Kat Lintott and Academy award winner Jamie Selkirk, the goal of Pohewa is to offer access to industry professionals, technology and thinking in order to foster a greater community of creative professionals. The team at Miramar Creative have opened the door to WIFT members by offering a 10% discount on workshops and masterclasses to all members, plus a limited number of full scholarships.

The first scholarship is for Virtual and Augmented Reality classes on 31 August and 1 September.

To apply for the Miramar Creative / WIFT scholarship please send your CV together with 300 words on how you will benefit from this 2-day intensive course to office@wiftnz.org.nz (Note that this course normally costs $1,990 excluding GST.) These are very special courses! All applications will be forwarded to the team at Miramar Creative who will select the lucky recipient of this first scholarship.
