WIN double passes to Kusama: Infinity

Posted Wednesday 07 Nov 2018

We have five double passes to give away to this film about the incredible life journey of the world's top-selling female artist. Filmed for more than a decade, Heather Lenz's debut documentary Kusama: Infinity shows Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's radical artistic vision and fierce determination to become a world-renowned artist. At 89 she is celebrated for her colourful polka-dot motifs and her immensely popular Infinity Mirrored Rooms. However, her critical and commercial success comes after decades of struggle against a traumatic upbringing, lifelong mental illness, a conservative Japanese art world, and racism and sexism in the West.

Released in New Zealand cinemas 15 November, 2018.

To be in to win, watch the trailer and answer this question:

What is the colour of the outfit (with a pointy hat) does Kusama wear at the 1993 Venice Biennale?

Send your answer in the subject line to office@wiftnz.org.nz by 5pm, Monday 12 November, 2018. Winners only will be notified, by email.
