Applications open for the Vancouver International WIF Festival and Screenplay Competition

Calling all filmmakers, come show your wares! The VIWIFF - WIFTV is now accepting submissions for the 2019 Vancouver International Women in Film Festival. VIWIFF screens a diverse selection of films from across the globe. Each film programmed has at least three women in a key creative role. Submissions are open until October 4, 2018, and the festival runs from March 5 - 10, 2019.


For scriptwriters, the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival Screenplay Competition is looking for standout screenplays by women. Submissions of feature-length scripts of any genre that challenge perceptions and represent a diversity of perspectives are encouraged.
Submissions are open until October 1, 2018.
