Here's your chance to finally "get to Sesame Street" (and maybe get an autograph from Big Bird) by pitching a short film idea for Season 50 of this classic kids' TV show. Kiwi filmmakers are invited to submit one idea for a one minute live action, animated, or mixed media film focused on alphabet letters or numbers, to be featured on the show. The top eight applicants will then pitch their short film idea to Sesame Street's Film Producer and one of Show Me Shorts' 2018 National Jury judges, Kim Wright, at a special event hosted by Show Me Shorts. Note that selected applicants must be available in Auckland, from 1-3pm on Wednesday 10th October, 2018, to attend this event and pitch their idea in person.
