Here's an exciting opportunity and challenge for documentary makers! Doc Edge, in partnership with Rei Foundation Limited is offering the Rangatahi Film Fund, an innovative new fund for short documentaries for the next generation - our youth. The fund is among the first of its kind in the world, established especially to support documentaries that are made for audiences aged 11 - 1 7 years. It is open to both NZ and international filmmakers with screen experience and credits. In 2019, up to $80,000 NZD will be available to support the production of four short documentaries (ideally two from New Zealand and two international) with the potential to increase the funding to $120,000 NZD for up to six films in the following year.
