We're delighted that the New Zealand Cinematographers Society has set in motion an initiative aiming to increase the number of women in the camera community! With support from the NZFC, the NZCS is running a gender diversity programme to support more women in the earlier stages of their career, increasing visibility and so building change. The placements can vary in both length and role, from five days to five weeks, and for positions from emerging cinematographers to camera trainees. If you're interested up-skilling your current camera role via a short-term paid mentorship, email your CV and showreel (if you have one) to eo@nzcine.com. They'll keep you in the loop as opportunities arise. Note that this programme is for NZCS members only, and there are no guarantees of a placement. The NZCS will shortly be considering applicants for an attachment with Aaron Morton NZCS on Sweet Tooth.
