Let's hear it for Ruth Korver and Ness Patea for delivering a great Vista Foundation 48Hours this year! We're thrilled to see Tom Sainsbury picked up the award for Best Director and the Grand National Runner-up award for Like Nobody's Watching. And congratulations to new member Zelle Read for collecting the Gaylene Preston and WIFT Best Female Director Award for Red River (this film is in the Gross-out Comedy category so be prepared!) And well done to our South Island board member Vanessa Well's team TBALC who picked up Best Original Score/Song for D.O.C Force: Death Island.

And here's a big shoutout to the Best Female Filmmaker winners from the regions who each received a year's WIFT membership - we're glad to have you with us and we hope you'll make the most of it!
